I have been a part of Widey Court since my very first year of teaching. With Widey being a large school, the opportunities for professional development are fantastic. Everyone is so helpful and supportive!
Being a recent ânewbieâ to the Widey team was the best decision ever made, as I feel like I have been accepted into a warm, kind and caring family. The environment when you enter the school is something you canât explain; itâs like magic!
There are many joys about being a student at Widey Court- the staff, fellow students, the Widey buildings and the surroundings. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and show compassion and care in the work they do. We have an amazing outside space which is used on many occasions. Here at Widey Court, the students show respect and help others.
We bring the staff, children and families together at our half termly events to enjoy some great activities. Weâd like to think that Widey Court is a community and whether itâs a Halloween Disco, Christmas Fayre, Summer Fayre or an Easter Egg Hunt, we can offer cheap social and family activities whilst raising money for our school with the help of all our amazing volunteers. Widey offers that extra sparkle to any event and the childrenâs smiley faces are a testament to that!
