We have very high standards at Widey Court and are very proud of how smart the children look in their school uniform.
Please refer to the following information below as a guide on what your child needs to wear to school:

Winter â Years 1-6 Inclusive
Boys: - grey trousers, white shirt and tie, bottle green âVâ necked pullover with school badge, grey socks and black or brown shoes only (no trainers, high-heeled shoes or fashion boots).
Girls: - grey skirt, pinafore or grey straight legged (non-fashion) trousers, white shirt and tie, bottle green cardigan / âVâ neck pullover with school badge, school tie. White socks, bottle green/black/grey tights. Black, brown or grey shoes only (no trainers or fashion boots).
Hair accessories should be green, gold or black.

Summer â Years 1-6 Inclusive
Boys: - grey trousers/shorts, white shirt â short sleeved (not polo Shirt) with a tie. Grey socks and black, brown or grey shoes (no trainer, high heeled shoes or sandals).
Girls: - grey skirt/pinafore and white shirt (not polo shirt) with a tie. Bottle green and white gingham (checked) dress. White socks, black, brown, grey or white shoes may be worn (these must be closed toes) (no trainers, high heeled shoes or sandals).

Foundation Children (Winter and Summer)
âWhite cotton polo shirt and bottle green sweatshirt with the school badge. A pair of grey straight legged trousers which the children can manage independently.
Girls have the option of wearing a skirt with an elasticated waist. Pinafore dresses and tights are discouraged in first term due to the difficulty when dressing independently and the teaching time lost when changing. Black, brown or grey shoes only (no trainers, high heeled shoes or fashion boots).
Jewellery information
Wearing jewellery is not permitted for reasons of safety. The only jewellery allowed is a wrist watch and one plain gold or silver stud earring in the lobe of the ear. Â They should be removed for PE and Games activities or covered with surgical tape for protection.

Games & PE Kit information
Children are able to come to school wearing their PE kit and tracksuit on the days they have PE or Games.
PE Tops - Children wear a polo shirt in their house colour with black shorts.

Plain black tracksuits for children to wear over their PE kit when outdoors in the winter.

Lost property information
To reduce lost property, please clearly mark all clothing, bags, bottles etc with your childâs name.
There is a lost property box in the front entrance admin area. We cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage to an individualâs property.
Any un-named lost property at the end of each term will be given to the PTFAÂ to sell as part of their pre-loved uniform sale.
