We done to our Year 3/4 children who took part in a football tournament at Harpers this week! They played very well as a team and scored 15 goals in their matches! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Thank you to Mr Miles for organising this event!

Today, two of our school council members were selected to represent our school at a ‘Connect Council Meeting’ held at Eggbuckland Vale Primary School. They received their Connect Council badges and had the chance to meet and interact with other students their age representing schools from across the Connect Trust. During the meeting, a variety of ideas were shared, and the Council agreed on some common goals. ⭐️⭐️

Thank you to the House Captains for joining Mrs Maiden and Mr Keach at the Royal British Legion to lay wreaths. They had the chance to talk to veterans and take part in a special Remembrance Service. ❤️ Thank you to members of Mrs Keach’s Creative Club who also took along handmade Christmas decorations to hand out. 🌲 The school will have a special Remembrance Assembly on Monday and take part in the two minutes silence. We will remember them ❤️

Odd Socks Day as part of Anti-bullying Week next week! 🧦

We are over the moon with how many of our Year 6s have applied for the prestigious roles of Head Boy and Head Girl this year! Over 50 letters received! 😳 We are still in the process of short-listing!!!! Confirmation of interview letters will be handed out in the first week back after half term! We are so proud of you all! Your letters are such a high standard! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our KS1 Superstars who are our Progress and Courtesy Award winners this week! We also said a special goodbye and good luck to Miss Canuto with a farewell song! ⭐️🎶🎵

Our Year 2 footballers did us proud yesterday at the finals! They played superbly as a team, scored a few more goals and showed positive sportsmanship! Superstars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Thank you again to Mrs Pomeroy and Mrs Jones for taking the team!

The children in EYFS had a Diwali themed morning as they celebrated the Hindu Festival of Light. They learnt traditional Indian dances in the hall whilst dancing with their glow sticks in the hall and celebrated the morning with a feast! The children tasted naan bread, poppadom, pilau rice and mango chutney! Well done everyone! Happy Diwali! 🪔⭐️
