Year 6

Our PTFA are an incredible group of volunteers, who freely give up their time, to ensure they provide events and activities that our whole school community benefits from! Without these parent volunteers, the discos, Christmas/Summer Fayres, EYFS Stay and Plays, Frozen Fridays in the summer heat, pre-loved uniform sales and Easter Egg Hunts….just wouldn’t happen! A spooky disco tonight (three actually!) was the start of a year’s strategic planning to raise money for our children! They are our super heroes and we just want to say….THANK YOU! 💚🌟

After 54 Year 6 letters of application and 14 presentations and interviews last week, we are proud to announce this year’s Heads and Deputies for Widey! 💚🌟💚🌟💚🌟 Head Girl: Olivia Deputy Head Girl: Sophia Head Boy: Rogan Deputy Head Boy: Arthur We also have a very strong ‘Junior Leadership Team’ (JLT), made up of our 14 interviewees, who will be working closely with Mr Nicholls and Mrs Llewellyn, supporting many activities and initiatives across the year, with also their own ideas for improvements that they shared during their presentations! We are so proud of ALL the children who put themselves forward for these important roles and responsibilities! 💚🌟💚🌟
